The analysis that we perform on evidence is an important part of understanding our ancestors’ lives and times. It should be more than a cursory review; it should include consideration of all of the evidence in hand taken as a whole.
One of the most important things we can do is document our thought processes. What evidence did we find? What did it tell us? How does it fit with other evidence we have uncovered? What hypotheses did we develop while analyzing everything? What conclusions did we reach? What proof do we have?
